Bamboo release notes plugin

  1. Login to Bamboo

  2. Go to deployment projects

  3. Open and edit your deployment project

  4. Add a new task

  5. Select “Release Notes Generator” task


  6. Fill the required parameters
    1. File name: the name (without extension) of the final HTML file containing the release notes
    2. Bamboo homepage URL: the link to your Bamboo “all plans” URL (must not end with “/”)
    3. Bamboo user: the login username that has access to bamboo
    4. Bamboo login password: the password of the username



  7. Save

  8. Go back to deployment project

  9. Run the deployment

  10. The release note is then generated in ${bamboo.ugubi.releasenotefile} html file
