Filters Activity Stream for Server: Installation Guide
Getting started
Filters Activity Stream is a dashboard gadget that shows a list of the most recently changed content in your Jira site. Compared to the standard Activity Stream, Filters Activity Stream lets you configure a basic or JQL filter. This meets many business needs, such as browsing worklog activity, or retrieving issues with specific components, sprints or versions, and much more.
Requirements
- You need at least one filter that you have access to or own on your instance.
- The filter must be visible to other users if the dashboard is shared.
- To use a filter you did not create yourself, mark it as a favorite (star) so it appears in the gadget configuration.
Installing Filters Activity Stream
- Log in to your Jira instance as an admin.
- Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
- Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons on the left-hand side of the page.
- Search for Filters Activity Stream. The matching app version appears in the search results.
- Click Try free to begin a trial or Buy now to purchase a license. You're prompted to log in to MyAtlassian, and Filters Activity Stream begins to download.
- Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
- Click Apply license. If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Jira instance.
To find older versions compatible with your instance, see the version history page.
